(Reuters) -An explosion heard at al-Anad military base in southwest Yemen was due to the detonation of munitions at a weapons depot, the Yemeni southern forces spokesperson said on Thursday.
The incident did not result in any human or material losses, Mohamed al-Naqeeb said in a statement, adding that an investigation was underway.
