HELSINKI (Reuters) – Estonia’s Reform Party Prime Minister Kristen Michal said on Monday he will expel the Social Democratic Party from the government due to a disagreement over taxes, leaving him with a narrow majority in parliament.

“At a time when urgent decisions need to be made, one cannot return to the roots of these decisions endlessly to review them. Certain decisions need to be made so that Estonia can move forward,” Michal told a press conference.

The Reform Party and the Estonia 200, which together hold 52 seats in the 101-seat parliament, will remain in government, he said.
