Congress considers a surrogacy bill

(SRN NEWS)- Lawmakers point to a case out of Pennsylvania in which a convicted sex offender was able to obtain a child through a surrogate mother.  Now Congressman Scott Perry, a Pennsylvania Republican, has introduced legislation that would penalize any surrogacy agency that provides a child to a known sex offender.  The Center for Bioethics and Culture Network says the bill addresses the current patchwork of surrogacy laws that leaves too much ambiguity.”
