Colorado’s conversion therapy ban is being challenged

(SRN NEWS) – The state has a law that bars licensed counselors from helping anyone under the age of 18 abandon the homosexual lifestyle. 

But counselor Kaley Chiles says the measure violates her freedom of speech and freedom of religion and she’s going to court. 

Alliance Defending Freedom represents Chiles and spokesman Cody Barnet says “The government has no business censoring private conversations between clients and counselors.”
