Chinese regulators issue requirements for the labeling of AI-generated content

HONG KONG (Reuters) – Multiple Chinese government departments said on Friday that they have issued requirements for the labeling of artificial intelligence (AI) content, which will come into effect on September 1, 2025, a move they said would help “promote the healthy development of artificial intelligence”.
