BEIJING (Reuters) – The International Criminal Court (ICC) must be “just and fair” and exercise its duty “prudently”, China’s foreign ministry said on Thursday, in response to a query about the ICC seeking an arrest warrant for Myanmar’s military leader.

The ICC prosecutor said he would seek to arrest Myanmar junta chief Min Aung Hlaing for crimes against humanity in the alleged persecution of the Rohingya, a mainly Muslim minority.
