BEIJING (Reuters) – China told the European Union it is ready to step up communication with the bloc, enhance mutual understanding and jointly provide more stability to the world, according to remarks its foreign minister made to the EU policy chief.
There is no conflict of fundamental interests or geopolitical conflict between china and the EU, Minister Wang Yi said, speaking to the EU foreign policy chief on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on Friday.
Separately in another meeting with his German counterpart, Wang said China is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with Germany, Chinese foreign ministry readouts on Saturday show.
