BEIJING (Reuters) -China is strongly dissatisfied and resolutely opposed to the European Union’s “unreasonable” sanctions on Chinese firms, the foreign ministry said on Wednesday.
The EU and Britain announced new sanctions against Russia on Tuesday, with some Chinese firms targeted.
China will take the necessary measures to safeguard its legitimate rights and interest, ministry spokesperson Mao Ning told a regular press conference when asked about the sanctions.
