BEIJING, Jan 27 (Reuters) – Chinese chip design firm Shenzhen China Micro Semicon announced on Tuesday price hikes of 15-50% for products including microcontroller units and Nor flash, citing the current “severe” supply-demand situation and significant cost pressure.
“Affected by industry-wide chip supply tightness and rising costs, the delivery cycle for packaged finished products has lengthened, with costs increasing significantly from previous levels,” the company said in a statement on its WeChat account.
