(Reuters) -Cardinal Health said on Tuesday it would start a new facility in Indianapolis to bolster its drug distribution network.
The drug distributor said the new facility was expected to create more than 100 new jobs and would use automation services such as a robotic storage and retrieval system to support deliveries of specialty drugs across the U.S.
The company said the Indianapolis facility was likely to be fully operational by fall 2027 and would be its second center following its announcement to build a facility in Columbus, Ohio, last year.
