(Reuters) – Britain’s BT has approached telecommunication companies AT&T and Orange over possible partnerships to help turn around its international business, Bloomberg News reported on Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

“We’re keeping everything open and this means we’ve been speaking to third parties about a range of possibilities,” a BT spokesperson said, without giving further details.

Allison Kirkby, who became the CEO of Britain’s largest mobile and broadband operator a year ago, has been concentrating the company’s business division on the UK while exploring options for its international operations.

The British telecom firm said the partnership could include the sale of a stake in its global division, Bloomberg News reported.

Orange declined to comment, while AT&T did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

In its most recent results, BT reported record fibre customer additions. However, its revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 took a hit from a drag in its international business unit.
