(Reuters) -British Airways parent IAG is poised to order about 30 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The deal may also include options that increase the number of planes, the report stated. Airbus may also receive some widebody orders from IAG.

Boeing and IAG did not immediately respond to Reuters’ request for comment.

Earlier in the day, U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said the United Kingdom will purchase $10 billion of Boeing planes, though the details were unclear.

The order adds on to an already large backlog for Boeing, even as the planemaker struggles with supply chain snags in its attempt to ramp up production.
