VERBATIM: A new poll released by the Barna Group finds that 57% of self-identified Christian teenagers have shown up for youth group over the past three months. Boys are more likely than girls to be there — 63% to 52%. The poll also indicates that as teens get older — 17 and 18 — they are less likely to attend youth group at their church. Barna says the question of whether youth groups are doing a lot to activate adolescents’ faith is harder to answer. MH REPORTING
