Wall Street hopes to keep its winning streak going after the Independence Day holiday. Investors had a shortened trading day Monday before taking a break on July 4th. When the opening bell sounds on Wednesday morning, Wall Street will be entering the second half of the year in full gear. The Nasdaq registered its strongest first-half performance in 40 years with a more than 31 percent gain. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 is at its highest level since April 2022.
