Vance not committing to VP debate yet with Dems in disarray

Trump running mate JD Vance is not committing yet to a debate with Vice President Harris. After Vance was nominated as the GOP vice presidential nominee here at the party convention, Harris accepted a third debate date offered by CBS News and encouraged Vance to accept. But the Trump campaign says it’s too soon to discuss the debate because Democrats don’t formally have their nominees and President Biden could still drop out of the race. The president has insisted he’s not leaving despite growing pressure from Democrats for him to step aside.
