The United States says the Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire is holding together for the most part. Despite some sporadic military activity between Israel and Lebanon, White House national security spokesman John Kirby says the ceasefire has led to a “dramatic reduction in the violence.” The ceasefire is essentially holding even though Israel and Hezbollah have accused each other of violating terms of the truce.
