U.S. vows “rock solid” support for Israel after attack by Hamas

President Biden says the United States “stands with the people of Israel” in the face of deadly attacks. In a brief White House appearance, the president condemned the assault carried out by Hamas terrorists. And he said he reassured Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu of America’s support for the Jewish state. The president also called the king of Jordan, as the secretaries of state and defense touched base with their Israeli counterparts.
