U.S. sends military advisers, gear to Israel ahead of ground war
The Pentagon is sending more military gear to the Middle East, as well as U-S advisers. In addition to troops being deployed to the region, the U-S is sending sophisticated air defense systems to the Middle East. The White House says the moves are aimed at preventing the war from spilling over. John Kirby with the National Security Council also said the Pentagon is dispatching some top military officials to Israel to help in its war planning.
