The United States has imposed more sanctions aimed at Russia. The latest action targets roughly 120 companies and people in an effort to choke off Moscow’s access to products, money and financial channels that support its ongoing invasion of Ukraine. The sanctions imposed by the Treasury and State departments target dozens of Russian mining, technology and munitions firms and commercial banks, as well as companies in the United Arab Emirates and Kyrgyzstan.
