President Trump says he’s holding off on Russia sanctions because of his push for peace negotiations. Even though the president fully admits his frustration with Russia’s Vladimir Putin and the lack of a ceasefire deal with Ukraine, he hasn’t imposed new sanctions on Moscow. Asked if Putin is serious about reaching a deal to end the three-year-old war, the president said he’ll know in about two weeks if Russia is willing.
