Trump proposes $1.5 trillion dollar military budget for 2027

President Trump is proposing a massive increase in military spending for next year. On the heels of the U-S military operation to capture Venezuela’s leader, the president wants a one-and-a-half trillion dollar defense budget for 2027. That’s an increase of more than half a trillion dollars from the current budget. The president cites “troubled and dangerous times” for the higher request. In a social media post, he wrote “this will allow us to build the ‘Dream Military’ that we have long been entitled to.”
