Third-party speculation continues to swirl around West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin after it was announced he’ll take part in next week’s New Hampshire townhall sponsored by No Labels, a group advocating for a third party. In a statement Manchin says “It is clear that most Americans are exceedingly frustrated by the growing divide in our political parties and toxic political rhetoric from our elected leaders,” Democrats are raising concerns a third party candidate would mostly draw voters away from President Biden and give an advantage to former president Trump, the most likely GOP nominee.
