Senator Ron Johnson [R-Wisc] says Republicans will have to depend on a grass-roots effort to get out the vote if they want to win the 2024 elections. Johnson says when it comes to campaigns, Democrats enjoy a major advantage in states like his, namely that the majority of their constituents reside in just a few large population centers. By contrast Johnson says Republican voters are more likely dispersed over wide, rural areas meaning GOP organizers must work harder to reach them.
