Senator Lindsey Graham [R-SC] is calling on the U.S. government to offer Ukraine interest-free loans. Graham calls his proposal “a new way of doing business” when it comes to doling out foreign aid. Ina meeting with President Volodomir Zelensky Graham predeicted structuring the aid as loans may get the prosal over the finish line with budget conscious Republicas in Washigton. Graham is also in favor of a proposal to use frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine to stave off Moscow’s invasion.
