America’s top diplomat will travel to China this weekend. Secretary of State Blinken will be the most senior U-S official to visit China during the Biden administration. The White House has expressed hope to improve relations with China, which have deteriorated in recent years. Blinken’s trip ininitially was planned for earlier this year, but was postponed after the shooting down of a Chinese spy balloon. Ahead of the visit, China’s foreign minister urged the U-S to stop meddling in its affairs.
