Texas senator Ted Cruz [R-TX] enjoys a FIVE point lead over his Democrat challenger according to a new poll. 42 percent of those responding to the University of Texas at Tyler poll say they would support Cruz in his 2024 re-election bid. Only 37% said the same of his Democrat challenger Rep. Colin Allred (D-Texas).
