Republican presidential contender Nikki Haley has requested U-S Secret Service protection. Haley’s campaign did not disclose any specific threats that prompted the request, but the former ambassador and governor was targeted in two “swatting” incidents around the first of the year. And in recent days, protesters have regularly disrupted or demonstrated near her events in South Carolina.
