Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to a joint session of Congress today comes during a critical time in U.S. presidential politics. Netanyahu’s address today will shine a spotlight on the gulf between Republicans-by and large strong supporters of Israel-and Democrats whose ranks are replete with factions denouncing Israel and in some cases holding anti-semitic ralies on college campuses. Several leading Democrats say they’ll boycott the address.
