The Trump administration is appealing the dismissal of cases against former FBI director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt says the White House disagrees with a federal judge who ruled that the Trump administration’s prosecutor was illegally appointed by the Justice Department. Halligan is a former White House aide who was tapped to be a U-S Attorney with no prior prosecutorial experience.
