VERBATIM: That’s what the Pew Research Center has been asking Americans lately and the truth is — they don’t know. Amongst the general population, 44% of regular church-goers say they do not know which party their pastor or the other religious leaders of their congregation favor. 19% say Republican, 8% Democrat and 27% say their pastor, associate pastor, and other religious leaders are a mix of both parties.
