Indiana Near-Total Ban Abortion Law Takes Effect
Indiana’s new abortion law is now in effect. The near-total ban took effect after the state Supreme Court rejected an appeal from Planned Parenthood and the ACLU. The law bans nearly all abortion with very limited exceptions. Abortions will be allowed when a mother’s life or health s at serious risk. Also in cases where a fetal anomaly is known to be lethal for the unborn child. There’s also an exception for rape and incest, in which case the abortion must take place less than TEN weeks after the pregnancy begins.
