In concession, Harris promises peaceful transfer of power

Kamala Harris is promising a “peaceful transfer of power” after her loss to Donald Trump. In her concession speech, the vice president said she called Trump to congratulate him on his election victory. Harris also told her supporters not to despair, telling them now is a time “to organize, to mobilize, and to stay engaged.”
