The House is set to vote today on a resolution to halt military action in Iran unless it’s approved by Congress. Details from reporter Bernie Bennett.

Thursday’s roll call will offer a snapshot of the support or opposition in Congress for the widening conflict that’s reordering U.S. priorities at home and abroad. It’s the second vote in as many days, after the Senate defeated a similar measure along party lines Wednesday.
Lawmakers are confronting the sudden reality of representing the nation in wartime and all that entails — with lives lost, dollars spent and alliances tested by a president’s decision to go to war with Iran. Republicans largely back the war, while Democrats oppose. But there are splinters in both parties.
