HHS no longer recommends COVID boosters for kids, pregnant women
The Trump administration is no longer recommending COVID-19 vaccines for healthy children and pregnant women. The announcement came from Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who claimed there’s a lack of clinical data to support annual COVID-19 booster shots for kids. At the recommendation of infectious disease experts, the government, until now, has been urging annual COVID-19 boosters for all Americans ages 6 months and older. No one from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was in RFK Jr’s announcement video.
