Vice President Harris doesn’t think being a woman will hurt here at the ballot box. A September poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that roughly 4 in 10 Americans think Harris’ gender will hurt her chances of getting elected this fall. But the vice president said she hasn’t seen “that kind of disparity.” According to last month’s poll, Democratic men and women are more likely than their respective Republican counterparts to believe Harris’ being a woman will be a risk and Trump’s gender will be an asset.
