Republicans are hoping to recruit a former hedge-fund manager to help them flip the seat of Pennsylvania senator Bob Casey [D-PA]. Senator Casey is favored to hold the seat for Democrats, but will need plenty of campaign cash to stave off the Republican challenge. The GOP is working overtime to convince David McCormack to bring his experience—and wealth-to the race. He spent 14-MILLION f his own money in a failed primary challenge against Mehmet Oz in 2022. As for Casey, he’s also flush with cash, after raising a reported FOUR-million dollars in the second-quarter.
