Georgia’s Republican governor is firing back at Donald Trump. Following his indictment in Georgia on charges he schemed to reverse his 2020 election loss, Trump denounced the criminal charges and repeated his claim that election fraud took place in Georgia. GOP Governor Brian Kemp replied on social media, declaring “The 2020 election in Georgia was not stolen. ” Kemp said the elections in his state are “secure, accessible, and fair” and that no one with evidence of fraud has come forward under oath and proved anything in court.
