President Trump’s 15 billion dollar defamation lawsuit against The New York Times has been rejected by a federal judge. The judge ruled that the lawsuit was overly long and was full of “tedious and burdensome” language that had no bearing on the legal case. The president has 28 days to file an amended complaint, which the judge said should not exceed 40 pages. In the lawsuit, Donald Trump accused The Times of “intentional and malicious defamation” and he complained online that it’s become a virtual “mouthpiece” for the Democratic party.
