Some Republicans are drawing comparisons between the the Democrat’s treatment of freshman Senator Katie Britt [R-ala] and former VP running mate Sarah Palin. Britt has been subject to criticism since her GOP response to President Biden’s State of the Union address. Some has come from Republicans. However some in the GOP says the over-the-top lampooning of Britt by Democrats reminds them of the visceral hatred liberals showed toward then Alaska Governor Sarah Palin when she was John McCain’s running mate. Like Palin, Britt is a potential Trump running mate. One—GOP insiders say–Democrats fear could peel away women voters from Joe Biden in November.
