The Senate Judiciary Committee has delayed its vote on the nomination of Kash Patel to head the FBI. Democrats on the committe are so opposed to advancing the nomination they’ve forced a hold, meaning the committee vote won’t happen until next week. The delay is not expected to prevent Patel’s eventual confirmation.
