Democrat Senator Jeanne Shaheen [D-NH] of New Hampshire says she won’t run for reelection in the 2026 midterms, That’s another blow for Democrats in their battle to reclaim the senate majority. Shaheen, who turned 78 in January, is the first woman ever elected to serve both as governor, and a U.S. senator.
