A Democrat senator has some advice for his party as it looks ahead to the next presidential election in 2028. Senator Brian Schatz [D-Hawaii] says the party’s next presidential nominee has to—in his words—“talk like a normal person.”  In an interview with Politico Schatz says  quote-“I think we are looking for someone who can plausibly fit in as a human being all across the country.”  Surveying the optios at his time time however Schatz adds that “I don’t know who that’s going to be,”.
