Cruz: Senate GOP To Soon Resolve Standoff On Military Abortion Holds
Senator Ted Cruz [R-TX] says the Senate will soon resolve the issue of miitary holds put in place by Senator Tommy Tuberville. Senator Cruz says he’s had a number of conversations with the pro-life Tuberville and believes he may agree to a switch in strategy in his bid to force the Pentagon to stop paying for abortions. Some are urging Tuberville to sue to Department of defense over it’s policy . Cruz and other pro-military senators warn that without a change, majority democrats will have the needed support to move a standing order resolution moving all the nminees forward in one fell swoop.
