The Commerce Secretary describes this year’s email hacking of senior U-S officials as “significant.” Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said the hack reported by Microsoft involving her emails and those of other American officials was “significant” and “unacceptable.” Microfost said the hackers were based in China, but Raimondo told CNN she would not speculate on whether China was behind it. She said they still don’t know the full extent of the hack and that U.S. authorities are investigating.
