One political commentator says you can trace the roots of the Trump revolution to radical changes ushered in by President Barak Obama. Guy Cirocci with The Commonwealth Foundation says Obama meant it when he said his goal was to “fundamentally transform America. Dismissed by many at the time as a mere political slogan, Ciarocci say it was the start of the progressive movement. A movement that came to a head during Covid, when government, the media, the intelligence and medical communities came together to advance a narrative, but also to silence all opposition. A tranformation so fundamental Ciarocci says it sparked pushback that took the shape of Donald Trumpo’s MAGA revolution.
