The leaders of Canada and Mexico each plan to meet with President Trump in Washington. The North American leaders are in the nation’s capital for the 2026 World Cup draw. The U-S, Canada, and Mexico are hosting the tournament next summer. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum have plans for a brief meeting with Donald Trump while at the Kennedy Center. It will be Sheinbaum’s first face-to-face meeting with the president.
