Blinken Admits Hamas Was Emboldened By U.S. Pressure On Israel
The State Department now admits that U.S. pressure on Israel emboldened Hamas to walk away from peace overtures it had previously discussed with Israel. Looking back on his role as the nation’s top diplomat for the past FOUR years, Secretary of State Antony Blinkin admits Hamas turned away from steps to end the war when it became clear the U.S. was putting pressure on Israel. Blinken also says the administration never has believed Israel was carrying out a genocide. U.S support for Israel is expected to grow more robust under President Trump, who has nominated Senator Marco Rubio for secretary of State.
