President Biden is celebrating the release of two Americans held hostage by Hamas. In a White House statement, the president said he is “overjoyed” that the American mother and her daughter have been released and are being reunited with their family. He thanked the Israeli and Qatari governments for their involvement in helping them regain their freedom. Mr. Biden said his administration continues working around-the-clock to free other American citizens who were taken hostage by Hamas.
