He’s the man who conducted a brief but shocking mutiny in Russia two months ago. The United States is skeptical about the Kremlin’s claims. Earlier this week, President Biden told reporters he doesn’t “know for a fact what happened.” But he said wasn’t surprised by the news, adding: “There’s not much that happens in Russia that Putin’s not behind.”
