President Biden begins the week with stubbornly low approval ratings. According to the RealClearPolitics average of polls, 41 percent of Americans approve of Joe Biden’s job performance while 55 percent disapprove. That reflects a series of recent surveys showing low approval ratings fueled by unhappiness over the president’s handling of the economy. Recent polls also have shown little enthusiasm for Mr. Biden’s decision to run for re-election — including among Democrats.
